This week, as a part of the College Access working group, graduate students in Morgridge College of Education presented to members of the committee on their research and recommendations for a college access strategy at DU. The course, taught by Dr. Laura Sponsler, was a Seminar in Civic Engagement: What is Higher Education For?
We are grateful for the amount of time, energy, research and passion that went into their final report. Dr. Judy Kiyama and Miriam Tapia Salinas are currently leading the College Access Working Group, and are excited to integrate the students’ findings into their work.
Thank you to this group of students for helping to progress the strategic plan!
