Walkways changing during campus construction

Construction on the Burwell Career Achievement Center will require temporary disruption of several adjacent pedestrian walkways. For the week of Aug. 12, pedestrians will be routed through the Lot L parking structure to avoid the excavation of Gaylord between Asbury and the Lot L entry. For the week of Aug. 19, the brick walkway at the northeast corner of Sturm Hall will be closed. Pedestrians with full mobility will be able to go around the work using the Sturm porch, but there will be no accessible route between the major walkway along the east side of Sturm Hall and the Asbury crosswalk. Please review the maps below to plan your travel across campus. Maps will also be posted at the points marked “YOU ARE HERE” on the maps, and directing signage will be placed at locations along the route.
