Solar Has Arrived on DU’s Campus!

Last Wednesday, the University of Denver celebrated its newest energy project through the ribbon cutting ceremony of DU’s first solar tree. This ceremony marks the 7,000+ solar panels going up on 18 of DU’s buildings, which will include two new buildings opening in 2020 These solar panels will account for 7-8% of the University of Denver’s energy consumption, surpassing the goal of 5% of campus electricity produced on site through renewable energy!
