9th annual Indigenous Voices Series event featuring Diné poet Luci Tapahonso

Diné poet Luci Tapahonso is a citizen of the Navajo Nation and served as her nation’s inaugural Poet Laureate. A poet, scholar, and storier, Tapahonso has taught creative writing, Native American literature and storytelling, and contemporary American literatureand poetics at the University of Arizona and the University of New Mexico. The author of several works of poetry and children’s books, Tapahonso, will be at DU to share her insights on the power of language and storytelling, while reading from her poetry.
