The Office of Diversity and Inclusion would like to announce and welcome our new ODI Faculty Fellows:
- Judy Kiyama, associate professor at the Morgridge College of Education
- Aaron Schneider, associate professor and Leo Block Chair at theKorbel School of International Studies
- Elizabeth Escobedo, associate professor of history
- Eugene Walls, associate professor at the Graduate School of Social Work
- Breigh Roszelle, teaching assistant professor at the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science.
As a pilot program through DU IMPACT 2025, these five Faculty Fellows will advance the work of Inclusive Excellence, creating and further embedding a capacity-building resource within and alongside their academic departments.
The ODI Faculty Fellows are tasked with engaging and fostering diversity and inclusion efforts, while serving as a resource and platform for innovation and Inclusive Excellence-related organizational transformation. Their areas of focus include providing vital support for underrepresented faculty; the infusion of inclusive curriculum and pedagogy; unit level strategic planning toward Inclusive Excellence; participation in faculty search processes; and diversity and inclusion communication and advocacy efforts within their unit and beyond. Join us in welcoming our first cohort of ODI Faculty Fellows.
