This working group is focused on supporting graduate student research needs. This group is working to advance the following transformative directions and strategic initiatives as outlined in DU IMPACT 2025:

  • Enhance the graduate experience across the University, including research support for graduate students and their ability to use the university fully. (Transformative Direction 1, Strategic Initiative 2)
  • Improving support for research by graduate and professional students, especially those who focus on increasing DU’s discovery and design of knowledge. (Transformative Direction 2, Strategic Initiative 2)
  • Expanding study-, research-, and work-abroad opportunities for graduate and professional students. (Transformative Direction 2, Strategic Initiative 3)

They are currently gathering data from graduate students in our respective units related to challenges they may face in relation to research and the types of supports that might mitigate those challenges.
