When high-achieving faculty members develop into distinguished scholars who shape their fields, they also enhance the reputation of the University. As detailed in Transformative Direction Two, we will leverage the growing interest among students and faculty to connect with one another outside their departments and schools and to be challenged by perspectives that lie outside their disciplines.
