FACULTY TALENT, EXCELLENCE & DIVERSITY

Kate Willink

Faculty Director, Office of Teaching and Learning, Associate Professor, Communications

Based on the work of this group, and the support of Senior Advisor Frank Tuitt and Vice Provost Karas, DU IMPACT 2025 funded a two year pilot to hold an institutional membership with National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity. For more information, visit the Office of Teaching and Learning.

The newly-created position of faculty director within the Office of Teaching and Learning presents a nice opportunity to tie in the work that this group has been doing to an existing university structure.  We are excited for the passion that Dr. Kate Willink has for faculty development. She will be integrating and implementing the NCFDD pilot campus wide.

Thank you to the hard work of Andrei Kutateladze, Brent Chrite, Bruce Smith, Gregory Robbins, Jennifer Hoffman, Lavita Nadkarni, Naomi Reshotko and Susan Schulten who worked for the past two years to advance ideas and resources—such as endowed chairs, collaborative faculty space, joint appointments, etc.—in ways that advance the University while also respecting and supporting the priorities of individual deans and schools.
