As announced in July, the University has commissioned a pay equity study to determine whether there are systemic inequities impacting our non-union benefited faculty and staff salaries based on sex, race/ethnicity and age. At this time, our independent consultant, Gallagher Human Resources & Consulting, is analyzing the data prepared by our experts in Human Resources & Inclusive Community, Institutional Research, Information Technology and Shared Services. The administrative committee has met with Gallagher representatives and has been advised that the initial analysis will be available within the next month or so. In the meantime, to clarify the scope and purpose of the project, the committee offers these responses to frequently asked questions.
