The Denver Advantage addresses the most pressing needs of our students and community.
The Denver Advantage encompasses the following projects:
- A new Community Commons (a completely reimagined Driscoll Student Center) to serve as a central “living room” for students, faculty, staff and visitors to connect and learn
- A new, 21st-century first-year residence hall on campus to provide a more cohesive student experience and augment the academic experience
- A new Career Achievement Center to support the career aspirations of our students and alumni and connect them to the more than 140,000 alumni across the globe
The three buildings are part of our holistic effort to provide learning environments that encourage academic and personal success, deep collaboration between students and faculty, and easier access to key resources and supports for students throughout their academic careers and into lives of meaning and purpose.
Students will use these spaces to discover their passions and create more meaning from their experience at DU.
As we embark on these three projects, we are undergoing a yearlong campus master planning process to provide a roadmap for future campus development, more porous connections to the neighborhood and a more robust “DU District” surrounding campus.
